Joe the Plumber Reports from War: "Media shouldn't report on war"

Please, God, let Joe keep representing the voice of conservative American media in war zones around the world.  Here's a direct quote from Joe--who's currently reporting from just outside Gaza:

"I'll be honest with you.  I don't think journalists should be anywhere allowed war.  I mean, you guys report where our troops are at.  You report what's happening day to day.  You make a big deal out of it.  I-I think it's asinine.  You know, I liked back in World War I and World War II when you'd go to the theater and you'd see your troops on, you know, the screen and everyone would be real excited and happy for'em.  Now everyone's got an opinion and wants to downer--and down soldiers.  You know, American soldiers or Israeli soldiers.  I think media should be abolished from, uh, you know, reporting.  You know, war is hell.  And if you're gonna sit there and say, 'Well look at this atrocity,' well you don't know the whole story behind it half the time, so I think the media should have no business in it."

Yet he and Pity Party Palin keep getting a mike to bash away. Or maybe the media is just giving them a bigger shovel to dig a bigger hole with enough rope to....

While your there you might want to check out the 'oil price' story that blames the speculators with huge funds playing the Energy Commodities Market for the huge spike in the cost of gas to reap more billions.

The sentence that really made me angry (0.00 / 0)
One of Wurzelbacher's sentences really made me angry. When I heard:  "You make a big deal out of it."  my first thought was that  Wurzelbacher really has no concern for those American troops at all.  His only concern is to ensure that the public's perception regarding the politicians that sent the U.S. military into those conflicts remains positive.

Furthermore, I really have a problem with Wurzelbacher linking the U.S. military to the Israeli military as if they are somehow interchangeable.  True, both nations are allies but then again so are the U.S. and U.K.  People like Wurzelbacher seem to make it a point to blur the lines specifically between the U.S. and Israel.  They always attempt to paint both nations as having exactly the same political, military, or even economic objectives when that never is the case.  As we all know, allies as well as enemies constantly conduct intelligence and counter intelligence operations against each other in order to gain an advantage and the U.S. and Israel are no different as history has shown.  Given all of this I really question Wurzelbacher's loyalty to the United States.  Wurzelbacher and those like him are a bigger threat to the nation and our military than the media ever could hope to be.  This would be especially true if people like him were given any access to material that could damage the United States.

Please, God, let Joe keep representing the voice of conservative American media in war zones around the world.

If this is the best they can do for a messenger, no one will ever care about the message.

Any thoughts about...the OTHER Joe? (0.00 / 0)
You know...the one who went to Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq?

McCain's legacy? (0.00 / 0)
I just love what an ass clown this guy is and what I find even more entertaining than how well he exposed the desperation of the McCain campaign is how the media actually covers him, playing into his hapless practical joke. Why are they even there?
